Tilly and BillyThey lived at a pub. When the lease ran out we were asked if we could board them for a month or two; the first weeks board money was handed over. Money must go along way in Derbyshire because we haven’t seen their owners, or any board money, for well over a year now!
Granny, Kid and Mum
A group of goats recently came in via Trading Standards and we suspected that a few were pregnant, including Granny. To our surprise, her daughter, who is a little more than a kid herself, gave birth to a very small and confident bundle of trouble. Granny wasn't pregnant, she had just let herself go.
Peggy and Monica
If anyone thinks that they can pick on Peggy because she is disabled, they have Monica Reed to answer to
Billy Mold"Just in from a quarry in Wales where I've been working for nearly five years now. I understood that I had a permanent position there, but due to a company shake-up the company is closing. I have to admit that I found it difficult to accept the prospect of moving, but after nearly five months of negotiation (and a vet with a dart gun), I relocated to Cheshire. Having worked mainly in the sheep debt over recent years, I am relishing intelligent conversation with my new goat friends. the human cleaners/carers also seem to offer an acceptable level of service.
In case you were wondering, there were some very unsavoury birds at the quarry, who for some reason felt it quite acceptable to gather my fur as nesting material . I have been assured that this doesn't happen in Cheshire."
