Adoption Scheme

He belonged to a young girl who loved him very much but her circumstances changed and he could no longer continue to live where he was.  He had not been living with other goats so when he came here he has found it difficult to mix well.  Being one of our larger goats though he does not get picked on.  He is very fond of cuddles and gives as good as he gets!

He used to work in one of the commercial herds.  For whatever reason he became surplus to requirements with his best pal Mr Christmas.  Mr Christmas was one for the ladies and Alfred idolized him and since his death (he must have been 103) Alfred has taken on the roll of Casanova and I am sure you can see why he is so popular.  He is one of the tallest goats we have and so, so handsome.  Alfred was a nervous wreck when he first came in and literally cowered on the floor for the first 24 hours.  He is by no means ‘in your face’ now but will allow a whole body cuddle if he knows you and you catch him at the right time
