TERRENCE GREEN

Terence was born here.  His mother, Teresa (you can blame her FULL name on a volunteer!!) came in with Crumpets group (see Crumpets page)  Soon after he was born mum became ill and was diagnosed with lung cancer.  Cancer is very rare in goats thankfully.  Terrance then lived with an orphan lamb, Mini,(she's now part of our flock of 10) and they were both bottle fed.  Terrance now lives with Crumpet and Crystal Tips at Five Acre and the man who delivers the food every Thursday has a particular soft spot for him and an occasional biscuit is passed between the two.

BODIE & DOYLE

Unfortunately they have been so named not because of their tough guy image, quite the opposite.  They whine like a couple of big girls' blouses.  They are affectionately known as the "Dip Sticks".  It is a challenging task to get food into their buckets without them knocking it all over the floor.  They are angora goats and lose they coat in the summer.  We tend to just pluck it off to keep them tidy rather than the stress of shearing them (both for us and them).  This does result in them looking rather unkempt at times though!
